D(P)uke or UC?...

Not being an NBA fan in any capacity, I am in the dark on what and where the "stars" of the league come from. But since D(P)uke gets to pick their players, and UC has to "find" theirs, I was wondering who would have a better "team" in the Pros.

"All-Time" UC vs D(P)uke

"current" UC vs D(P)uke

I know UK and Xavier have qaulity player in the NBA too, and maybe could both dwarf the Duke output?...list them too if you know it.
I know there are College Coach's in Football that get called out on the carpet for their lack of successful players in the Pro's dispite solid College careers....so, I ask the question about Coach "K".....
Why do they STILL get all they want, if they've not produced in the Pro's? -or have they?

Since 1997: D(P)uke won one title, and was (in order) ranked going into the NCAA Tourney as:

#2, #1, #1, #1, #1 (won Title 2001), #1, #3, #1, #1.....wow!

diss'claimer: Puke also won back-to-back titles in 1991 and 1992...as a #2, and as a #1. Three titles in a 10 year span is a fantastic accomplishment in ANY sport. Duke certainly has done a lot WITH a lot. I'm just wondering why they are so highly regarded by recruits, if its ALSO not a pipeline to the NBA $$$. For all they've done,...

Battier, Laettner, Avery, Langdon, Jason Williams (motorcycle wreck), Hurley (car wreck), G Hill (injuries), Brand, Deng, Dunleavy, Dawkins, Lang, Maggette....certainly a lot go in the NBA.....but who would be their 5 best NBA level contributors??...AND aren't other school producing as many or more/better?
There HAS to be a D(P)uke fan out there that could help with this????

True Duke is good, but who really makes true NBA'ers? The Tar Heels of course. Look at the past 5 or 10 years and you can get some significant talent-Vince Carter, Rasheed Wallace, Antawn Jamison, Stackhouse, Montross, McCants, May, Felton, Williams-and then you have the legendary talent from the Dean Smith era-Jordan, Worthy, Perkins, Kenny Smith, Bob McAdoo, Daugherty. Duke is a great college powerhouse with an amazing coach, but the talent at Duke does not translate well into the NBA.

Did you see the ending of the Puke home game (Senior Night) where the Puke-ie player hard fouled the kid from UNC?....That was flat out dirty! That Puke punk got nothing for it!...which is why they'll (as a team) do it again! They showed what Coach "K" calls "Grooming young men to adults after they leave the program"....yeah, make a AMEX commercial during Tourney time outta that highlight.....freakin' weasel bastage "K"oach!!

That wasn't the first time Puke had a player act that way during a loss, either. The announcers said nothing about it! cr*p!

This is an unreleased JJ original,....or so I've been led to believe. As many people now know, he's a poet when he's not chargin up the Cameron faithfull.

"I am JJ"

Roses are red, violets are blue
J.J. now leads the ACC, too

Yet people hate me because I'm the best
A little bit like a white Kanye West

I love writing poetry for all to hear
If I were a skater, I'd be Johnny Weir

This is the year that Duke wins it all
Unless, of course, I again come up small

If I'm to win, it must be in college
'Cause as a true Dookie I've got no NBA knowledge
