Subject: revised schedule

Due to two new teams being added to the league, the schedule has changed. Unfortunately, we didn’t find out until last night when we showed up to play our 6:10 PM game and found out we were playing at 10:10 PM.


The schedules are posted on RiverStar’s site, so I’ll take the blame for not knowing about the schedule change (I don’t think we were the only team that wasn’t aware of the change). We chose not to play, but will not forfeit the game as Bill (RiverStar Manager) took equal blame. We will make up the game at the end of the session.


We drew more than our share of 10:10 PM games. Counting the reschedule game we will play four of our last seven games at 10:10.


I’m not very happy with the management at RiverStar. It’s been a rough couple of years and I’d hope to see improvement, but there has been very little. Every year we go through these league schedule changes. Bill was very apologetic, but as a group they seem to cater to the special needs of their buddies with teams in two leagues on the same night. It’s difficult to find a fun, competitive league any more. I think that is why they are having so much trouble filling the fields on most nights. It’s just not fun dealing with this stuff every year. We are locked in at RiverStar for this year, so I can’t threaten much other than to find somewhere else next year.

Maybe you should look at Kenton Lakes. They Cater to their teams.
They schedule their games 1 hr & 20 minutes apart. And they supply the balls.
My understanding is their only charging $300.00 for the summer league.
