26th Annual Worth/USSSA “Memorial” Tournament. May, 27-28, 2006.
7-game round robin and championship round for men’s comp, men’s recreational, and mixed couples softball teams.
This tournament, often referred to as “The Toughest Test in Softball,” is played at multiple facilities in S.W. Ohio, including Dayton’s Kettering Field, Beavercreek’s Rotary Park, Lebanon’s Armco Park, Springfield’s Davey Moore Park and Lagonda Fields, and Sidney’s Flanagan Park.
This year’s tournament “remembers and honors” Ryan ‘Beef’ Tobias of Urbana and Dave Nutt of Dayton, both of whom passed away before it should have been their time. Ceremonies for the families will be held at Kettering Field at roughly 1:30pm on Saturday.
