I am getting about 50/50 on opinions for a new bat. I either want the 2007 Easton Stealth or the new Miken NRG 600 balanced. Can I get some input on what you guys think? My buddy says his Nrg took a while to break in and has a mushy fell but says if you can deal with the feel it is as hot as they come....

I was interested in buying the Stealth but I have heard that people are seeing them break easily. Don't know if it's true, but just thought I'd pass on the word.

Your friend is correct about the NRG. I had a NRG 500 Maxload and it took about 250 swings to really get it going. It did have a "mushy" feel on contact, but the ball jumped. I like a more solid feel, so I ended up selling it. I have a teammate that has the 500 balanced and really likes it and likes the feel, so it works for him.
I think Easton has the best overall line going. Our coach has the ASA Stealth and a few guys started swinging it right out the wrapper in games and were crushing the ball with it. Since we're ASA, most of us haven't swung any of the USSSA versions of the latest bats. I haven't seen any durability results on either bat.
