CincySoftball Super Draft 2006 - Saturday, October 7th - Eggleston Park - Cincinnati, Ohio
Limited to 8 teams (80-96 players)
3 Game RR followed by a one and out
Explanation of the event:
** This is a fun event that brings softball players together from all levels to play on the same team. Any Player from Super Major to E is eligible to enter. People looking to be "seen" or to meet coaches and players at all levels, this is your chance to network and possibly show off your ability.
**Each player will enter as an individual. There will be no pre-set teams. Each player will pay $30.00. The player will receive a minimum of 4 games played. No Refunds available unless the event is not played in the month of October.
**When each player has paid their money, they are placed into a player pool, which will be drafted on the Thursday night before the event.
**The event is full when we reach a total of 96 players.
**All players drafted will play every game unless they choose not to.
**We will pick coaches to draft the teams according to the individual’s knowledge of as many players as possible. Each coach can play at their discretion. Coaches will be given a grid detailing the available players, their level of play and positions they can play.
Draft: Individual players will be entered into player pool when their money is received, NO EXCEPTIONS! Player pool will close when we have reached 8 teams of 12 players. First Come - First Serve. 8 coaches will draw straws to determine draft order and then pick players using a snake draft format.
Game Times: The plan though is to start Saturday morning at 9am and we should be done that afternoon around 4pm.
Format: 3 Game RR that seeds a one and out.
Home Runs: 4 HR plus one up rule.
Pitching Rules: USSSA - No Faking
Bats: USSSA Approved bat list
Cost: $30 ($32.50 if you pay pal)
Draft Date: Thursday, October 5th - 7:30pm - Kelly's Sports bar, Eggleston Park. Dollar Drafts and Wing Specials. Players and coaches will get free gate passes for this evening.
After Party - Kelly's Sports Bar Saturday afternoon 4:00 - ?. Dollar Drafts and Wing Specials
Prize Package for the winners - TBD
Mr. Insignificant - Special award and door prize for the last player taken.
