Huh - basically a 4 way tie so far.

The challenge is that the majority of players play u-trip but if we dont get enough pitchers, then teams will have a distinct advantage if they get one of the good ones. I supposed you could argue that for ASA as well.

Thats why I suggested maybe we go with USSSA arch but take out the faking.

Any other feedback?

Larks, I totally agree with you. Either NSA or USSSA with no faking...There are some pretty darn good USSSA pitchers out there, I play with Dave Huber and he is one of them. You still have to throw it underhand, but the way they change the height and speed in addition to the faking, sometimes its really hard to hit!!! If you don't swing at the first pitch strike, you can be in big trouble :) If the event is suppose to be fun, and showcase your hitting and fielding talents, then I would suggest NSA or USSSA with no faking!!

Aren't pitchers suppossed to be able to showcase their talents as well???

That is true also....I guess it really doesn't matter either way, somebody will complain about whatever is decided so let the Majority Win ;) I do agree with you Middle11, I really didn't think about that....There is no right way to sanction it.....

Depends on who we get I guess.

Amazing - it's still running even.

It's gotta be u-trip for me I don't own an ASA approved bat, I need all the distance I can get

We are there to have fun an watch everyone hit right? I mean why not have it 6-10' pitching so everyone can watch and hit some bombs. Then you don't have to worry about an ump screwing you if you know what I mean. Less stress for them as well w/ 6-10' arch. JMO

ASA IS A WHOLE LOT HARDER TO HIT THEN U-TRIP. U-TRIP IS LIKE BASEBALL. BUT AS LONG AS THERE IS NO FAKING THAN WHY NOT JUST MAKE IT ASA, FOR ALL ITS WORTH MAKE IT A WOOD BAT TO REALLY SHOWCASE YOUR HITTING ABILITY.

NSA is 6-10 using U-Trip bats...that is what I played at in Michigan for their Draft. 1st time ever playing NSA and it was fun.

I see your point but making it wood is not an option.
