Hey fellas, coming in from Maryland to play a tourney this weekend. Have played before at Rumpke and Eggleston, but never Triple Creek. How are the fields there? Infield? Dimensions? Any details are appreciated. Will be staying in town an extra few days to catch a Reds-Giants game, any local hints on going to Great American Ballpark? Hotspots near the park? Thanks guys.

Triple Creek isn't a bad park, they have 4 fields (3 located in front and 1 in the back). the only bad thing about Triple Creek is field #1 if you play a 7:00 game the Sun is right in the batters eye and field #3 the sun is in the pitchers eye...other than that I really like it. The 3 central fields have green wooden fences and field #4 has a chain fence with yellow top. They also have three or four wiffle ball fields in between field #4 and field #2,#3. They have a playground for the kids and right across the road there is a little lake for fishing and a excerise trail...Good size infields and rocks on the warning tracks. There is not alot of parking there though, try to get there early if you can ;)

I believe so.
Now, for the Great American Ball Park, I would suggest going over the river to Newport on the Levee. There are a couple of nice restaurants, and a couple of great bars, I would suggest Jefferson Hall, live music and a pretty cool room.
There is also the hofbrauhause in Newport which is pretty cool.
Here are links to the web sites.

Awesome bro, thanks for the tips. That Jefferson Hall place definitely looks cool. Appreciate the responses. Have played in Cincy twice before, but never had the opportunity to stick around and do anything before. I am sure it's a cool town.

If you are lookin for something rite by the ball park, I would recommend Head First. It is on 3rd St. Across from the B.P. on the same side of the river. Nice sports bar.

It is the 26th annual Nazarene National Tournament. I play for Marley Park #1(Maryland). There are 84 teams. We are defending National champions, so we get a 1st round bye. We play at 10:30, 1, 4:30, and 7 if we win out. Finals are on Monday.
Saturday we will be wearing our red jerseys, I am #44. Hard to miss, shaved head, multiple tattoos. Pretty easy to pick out in a church tourney!
Good quality tourney. My team does not play "church ball" at home. We play class D. This year we have 1 USSSA tourney win, 2 2nd's and a 3rd. We will also be going to Kansas City for USSSA D worlds in a few weeks.
Our best finish ever was 5th in the NSA Super D worlds in 2004, so we are not your typical church team!
Thanks for the info bwoods, stop by if you can. Would be great to meet you.
