What do winners get? Its a little pricey for not being sanctioned. Why so much?

The winners will get championship t'shirts and a gift certificate to an online softball store.
The event is non-sancationed because the baseball program is using this as a fundraiser and also helping out a local team in Dayton who wants to use our facility.
I don't know of any other facility that can offer 9-10 man defense, 220 feet outfield fence, and 45 foot ceilings to play live games on. I may be wrong, but we offer a large area to play.
If its too pricey, don't play.

How did this tourny turn out? Was it a succesful tourny or to late in the winter to hold an indoor tourny?

We had four solid teams, could of had six, but the final two teams couldn't commit until Saturday and the baseball team was out of town playing, so schedule couldn't be changed in time.
The feedback we got was outstanding. The only issue we had was 3 times we had the softball stuck in the rafters. Every team got to play 36 innings in their four games and the winner of the event was Oakley of Dayton defeating A1 Trophy.
I believe since the weather is scheduled to be bad again this weekend, they are hosting another event on Sunday.
This time 3 games pool to single elim, 40 minuet clock and cost of $200.
The phone # for the baseball office is 937-512-3039.
