I just busted the handle off of my original 27oz Miken Freak. I was wondering if anyone knows where i can come up with a receipt. They can only send me a Pluss or a 98 in return, BUT they are saying in the case of the Original Freaks, they have to call the place you bought it to confirm the date of purchase.

Anyone know someone who can help me out with an official receipt?

Sorry to tell you but if the receipt isn't from Sports Authority you will not get a return for the bat. Sports Authority were the last compnay to sell the Freaks so those receipts would only be valid. And that was over a year ago so bascially you are stuck with it.

My buddy had the same problem last year and finally got a 98 in return. It took them approx. 4 months and dozens of phone calls to even get that bat. They used it for about 6 games last season then was hitting grounders this year and the handle broke on them.... that sucks.
