Are there leagues on Sat night??? Just wondering why the last game on Sat is 6:10 and only 4 teams are coming back Sunday??????

So you can spend $42 in gas to drive back out on Sunday, plus a gate fee, plus a cocktail or two...some lunch...oh what the hell we're already here, let's stay for the finals...another cocktail...you get the picture$$$$

Seriously though, they do play their leagues.
You have to give Expressway credit, they do help their leagues get their games in.

I have no problem with Expressway bringing back 6 teams on Sunday. If they tried to play it out, it would end up lasting til 11 or 12 and no one wants that... Remember that once you get down to single digit teams, you can't play as many games at one time...

I'm pretty sure Expressway knows what they're doing :) People on here are quick to forget that Expressway isn't running softball tournaments for their health. They are a business and the idea behind a business is making money.

Keep doing what you do Expressway.

Creg, you of all people should know that keeping the wives, girlfriends, kids, etc. happy is essential to alot of us, and if we can get this thing done in one day, it's nothing but good for the "family" perspective(I know I used that word again). Obviously, I would love to still be playing on Sunday. But I would much rather have that day free for other things when it's possible. It doesn't matter, according to the "other" website, we're not going to do any good in this tourney either(once again).

I would agree about the family thing, but I also know they're not a big fan of playing all day and being at the park until midnight... I believe we would both know something about that from a couple weeks ago...

That other website is just about stroking each other's egos... We both know we'll be right in the thick of it, regardless of what they think...
