Have you ever seen a team hit it as hard as we did and have nothing to show for it?

I caught another line drive again in that game, too (this time is was Mac's and not yours). Maybe that's a bad sign for you all.......whenever Neffy gets a hot line drive, it spells D-O-O-M for TPE!

We played you guys in the 2004 Metro. You won 12-11. Jet hit a screamer to you for the third out to end the game. I was standing on thirdbase. I've never popped out to end a Metro game.

Ahhh, well maybe. I specifically remember catching a shallow fly to end the game agains you guys. Maybe it wasn't you imparticular, but I thought it was. Yes, I probably have early stages of Alzheimers, as both of my grandfathers had/have it, but I'm positive we ended the game against you with that fly ball.

Sorry, you're mistaken. That could have been another game when you guys merged with EAP, but that game, that year, it was a line drive from Jet.

I think that was only the first or second out. The fly ball was the last out because I was going back on it and bittner was coming in on it. I called him off and caught it and remember being extremely satisfied that the game was over because it was a nailbiter. It was on Field #1 and 99.9% positive it was against you. It was the same game as the line drive, and the same inning.

Somebody back me up here?? Larks??

Most of that does sound familiar. I remember being on second (with I thought one out). Goose hit a ball that shot off his bat and I thought was gone. It was caught right at the fence in left. I tagged and went to third. Then Jet lined out to you. I think that was the last out. I don't even remember who batted after Jet that game. You may very well be right that there was another hitter, but it wasn't me as I was on third and it wasn't Jet as we still comment on that line drive. What I was debating before was that neither I or Jet hit a shallow pop up.

I lined out for the 2nd out. Vinnie popped out to some flamer to end the game. I can't remember who...

So we were both right. I guess it's a wash Neff.

By the way Neff, do you know who the flamer was that Jet's referring too?? lol.

That doesn't even come close to narrowing it down since soccer is the most popular sport in the WORLD!!
