Yeah we (Accurate Masonry) lost to Extreme 8-5 in the semi finals. They are a good bunch of guys, Lots of class.

One of the teams got protested in the semifinals of the consolation bracket b/c they had 3 guys from M&S Drywall on their team and M&S has supposedly already qualified at the B level or something like that. Anywho, they protested b/c of the 3 M&S Drywall players.

Later that day, we saw the same team again, and they had.... about 4-5 different players. We lost.
But, never the less, can that happen? Can you sign someones name?

You are referring to us... Team Crosley's/All in... we played you with 9 guys @8am, 5 of which are regulars... all on the roster. When we beat you later in the afternoon we had 10, 6 of which are regulars... all on the roster.

We had 1 different player!

i know some of the guys and i think its funny it happened to them. the guy who is supposed to run the team does this every weekend. calls people last second cause he can't get enough to show up. oh well, most of the guys i play with had a good laugh about that!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not arguing that they are not regulars. And, there were more than just 1 different player show up than the first game. And the ones that did, didn't really make a difference. We lost in a good game. It was a lot more fun than winning by 15. That is not my point.
What is the point in having a roster filled out, and having people "sign" it, if it really doesn't matter when people decide to show up?
They just need to scrap the whole roster thing then. Just play a tourney and when it is over, sign up whomever you want to play at Worlds, State or Nationals.

Don't talk s**t b/c as far as I'm concerned, I snapped every one of you off at some point or another in one of the games. The middle was completely closed, so I don't even want to hear it. And you act like you murdered us the second game? You beat us by what, 2 runs? Give me a break, tighten up the defense before you come on here talking crap. Your second baseman got ate up more times than I can count. I had nothing but respect for all of you guys for coming out and playing short, but after a comment like that...just play the game and have fun. There's no need to start anything between anybody.

Like I said in my earlier reply, the players that came didn't make a difference :), the 2nd baseman was one of the ones that came late. He got turned more than a Maxim magazine.

I did think that they were a good group of guys, I was actually caught off guard that bcos is talking *&^t. I guess he is talking (bcos) he is on a computer. LOL!!

For the record... both games were good games... both teams... good guys.

But BCC7 came on here with the original lip service "they picked up 4-5 guys..."

I was just setting the record straight, because we were essentially being referred to as cheaters! So if defending your squad is talking smack then I guess I'll do it all day! But I don't have to... we did it with the W in game two when it mattered. And I love the "hiding behind the computer" reference... more lip service from message board-ees.

I am the second basemen (played Centerfield in game 1 against Riptide do to the 9 players) for Crosley's... don't remember having a single error in center (game 1) or at 2nd (game 2)... as a matter of fact, I remember snapping off your 3-hitter to turn a double play that ended a potential rally... and if humanilite is who I think he is, he'll know what I'm talking about... "2-3 hole hitters" couldn't hit in front of him which didn't help his going .800 for the tournament! And he didn't snap any one off up the middle! If humanilite is the pitcher... no beef... he hit and played the glove well.

Anyway... just havin fun with it. Both games were fun games... I'm just saying that the second game was a little more fun for us!... and we never picked up 4-5 different guys!

Look I play for Crosleys and Cos wasnt runnin his mouth we have a tonof respect for riptide a couple of guys on your team actually came up to me and said the liked playin us because we had fun no sh*t talkin during game or nothing. Cos was just pointing out that the guys that showed up were on the roster. When they showed up they went to "sign in". We had them printed on the roster which is still legal the way I understand it. By the way I am the second basemen for the first game that "got ate up all day" I dont play there when our whole team is there im usually the catcher (imagine that) but I hate being called a cheater this is why I responded. Good luck the rest of the season. I look forward to playin your team again.

My first post was an honest question. Can new people come after the roster is turned in? And can someone "sign" for them? I was not complaining, that is why I said we lost. Period. I really don't care who is on the roster, I just want to know the rule. Maybe I should have just asked the powers that be.

We just saw a couple of new faces at the plate, what seemed to be a different order and so on. And some new shirts. There was just too much baby blue around the field. The uniforms were so bright and blue, I thought I was in a Tide commercial. LOL!!! Escpecially you Stegman, standing next to you I feel like I need to be at the beach with a margarita. LOL!!!

You are a good group of guys and fun to play.

We played this team in leagues a couple weeks ago and after run ruling them, they were feeling a little down, so the next week we were working on somethings on an open field and they started running their mouths.

I think it was "Straight Bill" Phil that started it by saying we were a B team. LOL!!! Then "Capri" Chris, with his shorts down to his ankles, started in on the B thing. Then "Left Tilt" Tim told us to get off the field sandbaggers. Then "Right Tilt" Tom joined into the choas. Between those 2 players, I couldn't tell which way the sun was setting. Then my favorite, his NBA jersey said "James", but I think his name was John, said that "we looked funny with our shirts tucked in." Finally, I think it was "Dingy Beater" Ben that said next time he will hit the middle.

If you see these guys, look out, they are a menace. They are N'Sync meets Malibus Most Wanted on a ball field.

there were 2 wife beaters (which were actually grey)

1 NBA jersey (I believe it was Kobe Bryant, NBA's finest player)

one XXXXXXL "Tall Tee" white in color & of course worn by just a little guy

and last but surely not least 10 brand new 5950 reds hats (still "in sticker" and non-bent bills)

All this on 1 field at 1 time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! has to be some kind of record or something!!!!
