We ( Groundtexx ) came in second place and I don't really know for sure what we have won ??? The coach of Extreme Softball told me before the game that they had already won their paid world birth the week before so I would imagine that we get that but I'm not certain ???
I found it strange that nobody from USSSA was at Rumpke for the championship games and Danny was given no instructions as to what the teams would get outside of a team trophy.......

You would win the World Berth, But not PAID. Extreme still wins the money. The Management communication kinda sucked at Rumpke this weekend. They didn't let anyone know whats going on. They didn't let the lower team that won it know what they won either. They told everyone when they signed up what they would get if a certain number of teams showed up, But what was the total number of teams playing this weekend. 3 diffrent parks its hard to tell. Great Job to everyone who played and did well!!

Hey Bird, it's Toby. I do not believe there is any travel money associated with this at all. You do get a paid World berth, but no money and no NIT points, only qualifier points. I don't think Extreme gets anything because they already have a paid World berth and the $600 travel money. Kinda sucks for them. I could be wrong about some of this, but I believe this is what I read. Walker/Tanel won it last year(we finished 2nd) and they got a paid berth, but nothing else.

all is explained clearly on the usssa.com website and in the rule book

The only teams in usssa that can stack travel money are the Major and Conference teams.

the travel money is awarded by the National office, its not like the director gets it.

No one got anything except a team trophy ................. the main problem was that no one from USSSA was there to tell the teams anything ??? It would be nice to know what you have qualified for and or if there are any monies to be given out so if you do plan on attending the world you can do so !!! and as for the rest of the " stuff " listed on that advertisment for this tourney we should have been given 13 shirts and I thought I read a money voucher from the park that you won at ??? There were two different births to be had one to Strerling Heights and one to Indianapolis which one do we get ?
SO there are several unanswered issues that makes this tourney look suspiscious.

If you would have read my first message you would have noticed that I did not call out anyone in paticular !!! I just want someone at the tournaments end to let the people know what is going on ....... The director down here ( Mark Linneman ) could teach you people up north a few things on how to run and area !
