Does anyone know when this tourney is and what the prizes are? I saw on Eggleston's website that it is tentatively scheduled for July 6-8. Thanks for any help.

I'm betting WEBN web site will have that detailed some.....uniforms, Bud Light?....some BALLS?....a gift basket of mini-muffins?.....chocolate fondue?.....now I think I'm just guessing.....

Actually, as I understand, the radio station in question was very slow in taking care of the uniform prize.

there was to be prizes for the top 4 teams, we came in third and didn't get anything. we were told the prizes were based on the number of teams.

That's kinda hard to believe, in that a local radio station that is promoting this a third year in a row has had a history of STIFFING people.....(and not in the GOOD way!)
This thread should be sent off to the station.....I think they'd be interested in this, seeing as it could affect the teams that enter???

Well - thats going to happen in a lot of tournaments. There is always an * attached to any tournament that gives away stuff or cash - its almost always based on teams entered.

oh i know, it's just that it was suppose to be a big tournament for both the radio station and eggleston, it's a good thing they had that cornhole game there and was giving away t-shirts to winners or we wouldn't have gotten anything except a sunburn.

We did receive some Bud jersey's, that you would never wear. Some softball pants, that your 6 year old son or daughter could sqeeze into. It took about 14 months to receive them. We never got our league fees they promised or a package that was to include a glove and some other crap. we never receive it either. We had to call and call and call and............. good luck to who ever wins this tourney.

I was under the assumption that this was being run in conjunction with the ASA national qualifier at Rumpke. If that's the case we are in.
