USSSA State Question

I think this answer is common sense, but I just want to make sure.

We are a USSSA team out of northern KY (as per the USSSA website). We play all of our leagues and tournies in Ohio. I know we have qualified through tournies in Ohio. Can we play in the Ohio state tourney or just KY? Can this be changed?

And, I know where Ohio's state tourney is, where and when is KY's state?

You would play in Kentucky, but it's my understanding you could also play in Ohio if you played up a level...
