im just curious as to why you wont take a check as a payment for a tourney? there has been MULTIPLE times ive called and wanted to play and said i could drop off a check BEFORE the tourney and you guys would deposit the check BEFORE the tourney but never have been able to? just curious as to why you wont accecpt a check? For some people its alot more convient to have a check wrote than pay in cash.....

Simple - too many bad checks - some times it takes up to 10 days to get a notice on a bad check. Give me a check two to three weeks upfront and I will take your check. Every time I go against our park policies I get burnt.

LET'S BE NICE. OWNING AND WORKING FOR A SMALL BUSINESS, CHECKS CAN AND DO OFTEN BURN THE ONES THAT ACCEPT THEM. YOU MAY BE THE EXCEPTION, BUT I KNOW FROM PAST PROBLEMS THAT CHECKS CAN AND DO TAKE 7-10 DAYS BEFORE THE BANK SENDS OUT LETTERS ABOUT A LACK OF FUNDS LEAVING THE ONE WHO ACCEPTED AT A LOSS.
