Which one is better?

When broken in, I'd say a '98. The NRG has too much of a "mushy" feeling on contact.

My replacement Freak 98 broke in half....probably only had 75 swings on it...

I have swung both, and I like both, but if it came down to me having to buy one I think I would go with the NRG.

yea a guy on our team has the freak and ive hit with it and it hits damn hard.

I HIT A HOT NRG AND THE BALL JUST JUMPS OFF OF IT, HARD LINE DRIVES FOR ME AND HOLE SHOTS. I AM BUYING ONE AS WE SPEAK!!!!!!!

NRG was complete mush!!! I bought one, swung it about 20 times and sold it for a quarter of what I bought it for, just so I could get rid of it...

yea i would have to agree bought one for a sec and it seemed to be a little weak.. now a asa nexxus is what i think im going to have to get.

I've got an NRG 500 Max and IT is HOT HOT HOT can't touch it. It hits like a hot Miken Freak!!!!!!!!!
