I would guess it's because some of the WSL C teams are playing in the WSL A/B as well. That and there are going to be more games played in the WSL C than the USSSA C so the teams will be at the park longer which in return means more money spent at the the park, just a guess.

That is correct. The teams that was going play WSL C and WSL A/B should not have issues with gametimes conflicting. We was going to try an do both but with being at two different parks there is no way to guarantee the gametimes will not be conflicting on saturday.

WSL C teams playing in both and needing to be at both parks is a solid reason, but not the real reason for USSSA C being held at Huddy Park. The real reason is because the coach of SportsCo/Archie's Place/Crosley's Royals requested to play there. Since his team is the odds on favorite to win this and everyone else is just playing for second, this tournament is going to be played at Huddy to accomodate them.

Please disregard anything Dayton Softball or Cooper11 says on this website. It is no reflection of our team. We just happen to know the guy and he is upset at the fact that he lives in the crap hole City of Dayton and he is not a member of our team.haha Our team is not a favorite in this tournament and we are ok with that. Dayton Softball is just trying to stir the pot which he is very good at. We also did not request to play at Huddy Park. We don't even know where Huddy Park is.
Cooper Auto is the hands down favorite to win every tournament they are in since they have #11 playing for them. Hopefully one day we'll be fortunate enough to play against them.

If only we were as good as Dayton Softball thinks we are, we would be in good shape.

huddy is an alright park, i played there a few times at the end of last yr, saw a few tricky hops in the infield but there outfield was my concern, wasnt so flat in some areas.outfielder have there hands full.over all 3 fields isnt to bad.hope they fixed the hole in the right handed batters box on the field when u walk in though.

The infamous "Huddy hop".. if you're not familiar with that concept, you will be when the first ground coming to you gets within 4 feet and then hops over your head or off of your face... outfields are similiar to cow pastures... so all in all, the infielders and the outfielders equally will have a fun time trying to play the field...

With the USSSA C being held at Huddy Park at all. I think they could have done a lot better than this. Pastime, Riverstar, Rumpke, Eggleston anything would work better than this. Not trying to cause a stir, just saying that I was totally shocked when I found out that is where the USSSA C will be held.

When it comes down to it the USSSA C was put a Huddy because it is the tournament that the Bash for Cash cares the least about and was also small enough to run at one park.
Riverstar is going to host the big teams, and with a lot of WSL C teams playing in the upper as well as the WSL C you have to keep them at the same park.
The WSL D/E has 88 teams so the amount of games will require 3 parks. With the USSSA D being larger than the C they are going to have it at a park with more fields.
It sucks that you feel that the best Cincinnati teams are in the USSSA C. While maybe being better teams, everyone is paying the same amount of money and the Bash is going to accomodate the tournaments with the most teams before playing favorites to the local teams.
After all, if it was about local teams, they would move the tournament back to better weather, this tournament is about drawing teams from across the country

Dayton Softball,
I applaud you on this one buddy. You hit the nail on the head on this one. I totally agree. It shouldn't be just about the local teams. Just play the game and move on. It's only one tournament, so everyone just needs to suck it up and be happy that it's the start of the season.

I've gotta agree on this one... in the grand scheme of this tournament, Utrip, and particularly the Utrip C are much less significant than the locals are used to.
Obviously they are going to keep their headliners at Riverstar... From there you start with the biggest brackets and the biggest cluster of fields and you move on down the list... What you wind up with is a small C Utrip C bracket in comparison and a small complex in KY that should accommodate them just fine.
