How does the bracket work after the 2 game round robin?

The way it was explained to me is that after the round robin everyone gets seated into the winners bracket. If you lose you drop down to the losers bracket like a normal two game elim tourney except the best you can finish out of the losers bracket is 3rd place. First and second place come from the winners bracket. So basically the championship game for the tourney is the semifinals out of the winners bracket.

I believe that's how they did it last year. It seemed like it worked out fairly well. The 1st and 2nd place money came out of the winner's bracket, and the 3rd place money came out of the loser's bracket. So I believe you can go 0-2 in your round robin and still win 1st place.

I called and got our times. She told me the tourney will start from 1:30-4:30 with the last game of the evening on Sat at 7:30. Tourney will spill into Sunday. Pool play starts earlier.
