you need to think before buying.
you need to make sure what you buy has side protection
cheeks and head.
i wear a gameface and it only protects the face.
that works great for fielding or outfield pretty well.
a pitcher should have a helmet
natural reflexs have you turn your head to the side so
make sure the sides of you head and face are covered.
the lacrosse helmet probably is the best.
those guys take some close shots and they do at times have to pick
a smaller ball up running and a dead sprint
so i doubt the vision of the ground is obstructed.
any of you guys out there that wear facial protection
post a pic
add your input
those of you out there that have not been seriously been hurt
accidents happen
learn from us that have been injured
spend the $$$$ to protect yourself
trust me that ball probably is the hardest thing that will ever hit you.
INF's bad hops happen so get you a gameface or D-mask
your teeth will thank you
as well as your lips and eyes
