Not sure why... but EZ Cash is rollin right now. Coming off a win over MFAB I think they'll battle with EAP for the W.

EAP should be right there in the mix of things for the win.

However, looks like just about anyone in this tourney could put a good run together.

I'll say:

EAP
EZ Cash
PRI
Cronin (Shout out to Billy Ramsey! :))

Good luck to all!

Cowboy- if you guys win again...can we please have one of your 17 jerseys? :)

Keep in mind that Cowboy has wristbands. Wristbands are the key to everything. Wristbands can wick away perspiration, and they just look so darn cool!

In my opinion, any of the teams entered could win. The C division in Greater Cincinnati is wide open this year. I hope this is the year we have someone bring back the hardware to our area from the World's. Strongest group I have seen in a long time. This includes the B and D also.

that would be quite an accomplishment for J-Taps........since they aren't even in the tourney!

Here is the C NIT Bracket for the Easton/USSSA "Westside Rumble at Pastime Park this Saturday June 7.

http://www.usssa.com/sports/bracket.asp?Type=Winners&Tournament=473056

How does seeding work in an NIT? Does there have to be a certain number of teams in order to seed the tournament? Not complaining at all so don't get me wrong, but it looks like EAP and PRI were rewarded with a bye, but I was not sure how EZ Cash got one when there are two or three other teams in the tourney with more points than them. Once again, I was just curious more than anything and was wondering if this was simply a blind draw...not trying to cause any problems.

eigz12
June 6th, 2008, 04:19 PM
maybe bc they are qualified for worlds??? not sure?

there is no bye. If you look EZ cash plays the same times as EAP along with cronin.

There is definetly bye's, if there aren't bye's there are play in games and I am confused. PRI, PBSI, Cronin, EZ Cash and EAP all have to win 4 games to win it. Everyone else has to win 5 games.

I don't understand this bracket myself...Because based on points...

EAP is the #1, Cronin #2, Hart Restoration #3, PRI #4, Chaos #5, JLC # 6, EZ Cash #7, Good Guys #8.

Just the way I see it.... EZ Cash should be flopped with Hart Restoration and PBSI should be flopped with Team Chaos.

What is the purpose of earning points??

That is kind of what I thought too but I really wasn't sure how it was done. I thought that all of the NIT's had to be seeded but I may be totally wrong. Like I said, it doesn't affect my team either way because we don't have that many points, but I was curious as to how the bracket ended up how it did. With only 11 teams, you will have to beat the better teams in the tourney to win it anyway, due to the fact that it is pretty hard to dodge anyone with that few teams. Oh well, good luck to all of the teams playing and let's try to beat the heat!!!!

I see what you're saying but i think good guys, chaos, saints, dc, falcon have not recieved a birth. JLC has but maybe cuz they are sactioned in KY that doesnt count. So I guess they have to make a play in game. But I dont think PBSI has their birth so I really dont know how they did it

Guys, they obviously did a blind draw.

If they would have seeded it:
EAP(1) would play the winner of Good Guys(8) and Design (9)
Cronin(2) would play the winner of EZ Cash(7) and PBSI (10)
Hart(3) would play the winner of JLC(6) and Falcon (11)
And PRI(4) would play Chaos(5). (This would be a 2nd round game, not a play in)

Sorry, I'm a bracket geek.

Since the only out of town team is EZ Cash, they probably gave them a later start is my guess.

They must have thought they were running a B/C and gave the two "B" teams the 1 and 2 seed. EAP and PRI...hahahahaha. J/K. Good Luck tomorrow everyone.
